These are the times that try men's souls.....Let it be told to the future world, that in the depth of winter, when nothing but hope and virtue could survive, that the city and the country, alarmed at one common danger, came forth to meet and to repulse it.
Thomas Paine, The Crisis, December 23, 1776

America. In the face of our common dangers, in this winter of our hardship, let us remember these timeless words (referring to the above quote).
With hope and virtue, let us brave once more the icy currents, and endure what storms may come. Let it be said by our children's children that when we were tested we refused to let this journey end, that we did not turn back nor did we falter; and with eyes fixed on the horizon and God's grace upon us, we carried forth that great gift of freedom and delivered it safely to future generations.
Barack Obama, Inauguration Address, January 20, 2009

In the middle of beautiful Biscayne Bay stood the piano that captured the heart of many, world wide.

We give you it's final song.

A1A.TV is celebrating the cultural diversity that is South Florida by featuring local music, art and dance.
We want to share with the world the numerous regional and international influences that flavor our food, color our fashion and pique our interests in the many fields of artistic expression.

Have you ever had a day that included boating down to the Florida Keys or laying on South Beach in your French bikini and Italian shades after enjoying a Haitian art exhibit, lunching on Cuban food and sipping on a Bahamian Kalik or Jamaican Red Stripe while listening to Hip-Hop or Country music? Well, the sun hasn't even gone down yet!
Welcome to South Florida - Miami, Fort Lauderdale, Hollywood, Boca Raton & Palm Beach.
Take the tour and let us be your guide.

Visit A1A Art and access the many museums, collections and galleries of the Wynwood District,
Design District, Coconut Grove, MiMo and Little Havana.
The "Highway Men" is a name given to a group of black artists working on the East coast of Florida from approximately 1955 to the present. So called because their marketing and sales strategy consisted of traveling the highways and byways of central Florida peddling their paintings out of the back of their cars.

While soaking in the rays at the world famous (and topless) South Beach, you might as well walk on over to Miami Ink.  Kat Von D has her own show now, but Ami James and his crew will hook you up!

Click on A1A Dance and Latin dancers, Kathy and Maritza, will leave you spellbound!
